Brandon Ingram will miss an extended period of time with an injury. The New Orleans forward suffered a severe lower left ankle sprain and is out indefinitely.
Ingram was injured on Saturday in a 109-119 loss to Oklahoma. The Pelicans forward twisted his ankle after landing on Lu Dort`s foot after taking a jump shot. While jumping, Ingram elbowed Dort in the face and received an offensive foul.
