Famed Dallas player Dirk Nowitzki paid tribute to the leader of the Lakers LeBron James, noting that he can surpass Michael Jordan and become in his opinion the greatest player of all time.
It`s amazing that he can still play like that in season 20. The level of athleticism is just incredible, so I`m very happy for him. I have always said that Michael Jordan is the greatest. But if James really beats Kareem in points, I will simply run out of arguments in favor of Michael.
LeBron has incredible accomplishments. His athletic longevity is impressive. And here`s another important thing. A man was named King at 15 and he didn`t fail, he changed so many lives, impacted communities so much. We should be grateful that he continues to delight us with such a level of play - said Nowitzki.
The 37-year-old James (37, 758) is expected to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38, 387) in career points this season.
